As we all know, trying to learn another language can be quite obstruct and often a harder process then we presumed. Nevertheless, we all know that being able to communicate in another language has its benefits.
English is the official language of the world… most commonly for its educational factors. If you’re wanting to study at a university or explore your career options somewhere else in the world other than your country of origin; Fluent English and most probably a score of 7 in the IELTS exam will be of requirement.
The question is though, is there an easier way that offers a fun & interactive way to learning English?
The answer is yes, and with the help with your favourite TV shows, movies and music are the solutions to this.

As it’s quite obvious and I don’t doubt that some of us have watched a TV show or movie with the use of subtitles. Research by www.gosub.tv tells us that watching TV has a “virtuous impact on reading and comprehensions skills while potentially boosting your vocabulary fluency.”
Pretty much what we are trying to say is, if you’re trying to learn English and you watch your favourite movie, or add English subtitles to your bingeing TV series, not only will it help you better understand what is happening but it is going to improve your ability in the English language.
The good thing about subtitles is that if you’re in the stage of learning English and you can’t quite comprehend what a certain word or phrase means. You can always pause what’s happening in the movie or TV show and check the meaning.
Our next verdict is: Which TV shows and movies are the best to watch?
Well, the topic speaks for its self… And that’s whatever you find of most interest to yourself. If you’re entirely into a TV show, you will find it most engaging to learn the scripting of that show, in English.
To further include on this matter, one of the most engaging forms of TV entertainment is Sports. As it may not be a TV show or movie, but, because you have an excellent view on how your favourite sport is played, watching it in English subtitles will no doubt lift your vocabulary game as well as seeing your favourite team win the game its self.
An interesting fact is that our brain has the ability to remember and take in the information we are most interested in.
